Team i360:

Colton Sanders

15-year-old Tehachapi High School sophomore Colton Sanders has won two national amateur motorcycle championships this year, competing against many riders who are twice his age. Sanders clinched the American Motorcycle Association Hare and Hound championship by racking up three wins and 157 points for eight rounds in the Hare & Hound series. The next highest finisher collected 123 points. In the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) age 15 to 29 B class, two first place, four second place and several lower finishes in nine races earned Sanders 153 points and a dominant lead for the national championship over the second place rider in the series with 110 points. In another WORCS class, 250F (four-stroke) B, Sanders placed fourth overall with 116 points. In the last race of the Hare and Hound series, Sanders, nursing a couple of broken ribs and a concussion from a competition the day before, dropped out and was disqualified. But he had already accumulated enough points to take the title. Sanders rides a 2008 KTM 250 XCFW bike and has a backup bike, a KTM 250 SXF. He practices at a track at his home at Oak Knolls and rides every weekend. Check out Colton Sanders on MySpace and say what’s up! Click on this link to read the full article This guy is good!
